I JUST REALIZED I WENT TO TOUR DE NERDFIGHTING AND MET JOHN AND HANK A YEAR AGO TODAY 

Today is g4tsby tees’ one year anniversary.

A year ago I made this shirt

and a few months later I gave it to John Green at Tour de Nerdfighting and now I have shirts on DFTBA what even is life.

They’re playing the Proclaimers at Great America and all I can think of is John Green singing the “da da da da”s

Part of the reason I haven’t seen season 2 of Sherlock is because I don’t know where to watch it. The other part is that John and Hank make me feel so guilty about online piracy.

In which I talk about my excitement over my shirt being on DFTBA.com, as well as not finishing books.

You guys, you guys, I just realized something. (Some spoilers.)

So you know that line in The Fault in Our Stars when Hazel says, “I liked Augustus Waters. I really, really, really liked him. I liked the way his story ended with someone else…” and then she goes on for a bit about Augustus? Well, I just realized part of the reason why I loved this book so much. During the time I was reading the story, there was always one question in the back of my mind, is Hazel going to live or is she going to die? Well if you’ve read to the end, then you know that we obviously aren’t given that information. It almost becomes irrelevant because of everything she goes through with Augustus. And that’s just the thing: Hazel ends her story with someone else. And that’s what I like about it.

Anonymous: I've had some shirt ideas and was wondering how you managed to get so popular and make your own shirts and have your own website? Like do you have any tips and such?

Oh gosh, well the making of the website was the easiest part. Onlineshirtstores has a web designer that basically makes the process super easy and I don’t really have to deal with the printing or shipping of the shirts. Um the hardest part is pretty much getting your products out there so that people will see them. I gave the “Holden” shirt to John Green at Tour de Nerdfighting and his wearing it in a video is what sparked a lot of people to google the shirt so they could buy it. Also, Tumblr is a really good way to promote yourself. I’ve recently learned that Tumblr giveaways can be really helpful because people tend to reblog the shit out of free stuff. Personally, I think that if you have shirt ideas then you should definitely go for it because it’s really simple and you might as well take a stab at it. What have you got to lose?
