What is this anti-social behavior?
I’ve been so deliberately reserved lately. It’s like I don’t have the energy to make conversation with people anymore so I just don’t even try. In class it seems like I’d rather sit there in silence instead of making small talk with people I only somewhat know. I know I could make small talk, but it just seems so pointless and fake to me and I don’t even attempt...

10 Signs of a Typical Writing Day  →
the-write-idea: By Elspeth Antonelli 10. The mug of coffee by your side seems to have cooled incredibly fast. You know you couldn’t have spent that much time reading emails and checking in on Facebook. 9. That idea that kept you up last night (and you were so sure you’d remember that you didn’t take notes) has vanished without a trace. 8. At the same moment that your fingers touch the...

Do you ever get bummed when you see that someone isn’t single, even if you don’t even know them? It’s like “oh darn, imaginary future chances have been squashed.”

I have to go to church today...
It’s not like a super traditional, conservative church. But still. It’s church :| But on the bright side: I get to go to Danville today with my best friend. So that’s a plus, right?

nimblestitch-deactivated2011071 asked: Oh my God, so I did some further investigation on that "I write like" thing, and it kept telling me I wrote like Palahniuk like three times, then like H.P. Lovecraft once, and then it told me. I wrote like. Stephenie. Freakin. Meyer.
Life is over.

I Write Like... →
wingedbookworm: indie-ginger: This is so cool!  Apparently I write like H.P. Lovecraft… Stephen King, interesting.  I don’t believe I’ve read any of his material.  To the library?   I write like Arthur C. Clarke and David Foster Wallace, apparently. I did it twice. How shitty would it be to be told you write like Stephenie Meyer?

Hypocrisy.
My father is not a smart man. He is angry and negative and unhappy with his life. He has this world view that is ill conceived and doesn’t understand that this is not the only way to view things. Anyone that disagrees with this world view is wrong in his opinion. He doesn’t realize that everybody has their own experiences that shape their own opinions and they aren’t any better...
